LONDON LUNCHTIMERS ACTIVITIES
London Lunchtimers Regular Meeting
We are pleased to welcome Diana Fawcett - the CEO from Victim Support - to introduce us to the wonderful work done to assist those who have fallen prey to many sorts of crime. In a nutshell, Victim Support is an independent charity dedicated to supporting victims of crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales. Their purpose is to provide specialist help to support people to cope and recover to the point where they feel they are back on track with their lives. They are independent of the government, the police, local authorities and criminal justice system, but work closely with them and others to achieve their vision – a world where victims and witnesses are given the support they need and the respect they deserve. To read more about them, just click their logo above to visit their website.
As usual, please be sure to bring plenty of change with you - so that our Master at Alms can boost our donation to their most worthy cause.
